Why do v call a lady as "prostitute"? She is not coming to your doorstep, if she does, you are scared n your prestige in the society ?? You snatch away the money which should go to your fly, u go and throw on her. In return, with that money she looks after her home/children. Men seek pleasure/enjoyment and call her "prostitute" and want her photos to be published... Why? Don't forget, she must be the mother of someone. Who pushing her into that trade? Of course, situations/problems/divorce and definitely either by father/husband/brother/alchohol. At least have little respect to motherhood.... As I heard personally a life story from such a great lady who says doing such job is very painful/harrassing/and what not. They even get beatings from the customers she says. Recently that lady died out of aids with a child in her womb (RIP). Guys, if possible go visit gurupura.. There are two houses one housing children with aids and another ladies with aidsf. Where are their fathers? If you look at them....it looks like for whose fault who is paying? Getting pregnant all by herself? Why these middlemen, agents mint money by their hard work?? There's a beautiful parable in bible a lady who was committing adultery. .

Some survey has found that majority of them are victims of trafficking, false promises of marriage and job offers, abduction, rape and blackmail. People involved in such crimes go unpunished either because of lack of moral support to the victims or they are not allowed to get access to the concerned authorities. Very pathetic situation.

Mr. Naveen shetty, Manipal how do you decide these women have given their consent to prostitution. They might have got trapped here in the name of getting household jobs, cleaning jobs etc. Hence the use of word "Rescued " is appropriate here. Don't decide anything in one way.

Well said Shanthi...very true. I wonder why men call ladies by prostitutes? When some men who are regularly visiting such lodges, too equally or of course even more responsible for a woman'to commit adultery, even such men too are to be called as prostitutes...

Sorry, but why the word "rescued" being used here?, if the arrested women are into the prostitution business then they must be at least 18 and did it with their full conciseness. The women are equally responsible, and they should be booked along with the men arrested. Equality between men and the women not only for the gains, its should be considered everywhere.

Prostitution is a oldest profession, that is a cliché. Why it is always mentioned that the women were forced by men into prostitution. They may be following that profession for various reasons. Women have to own up responsibility for their actions.

All men involved in this crime are exposed for Photo shot, but women are not shown. Why?

They are the ones fighting for equality in every way in Society. Recently same kind of crime was committed of cheating and robbing. But male criminal was showed withpolice Photo but female was not there. I ws wondering if she ran away?

The reason as I was told by Police to let the public know who these criminals are so to keep wtch on them in future. If some are shown and others are not, why this show.

    Why horrible incident ?
For some it is their bread earning profession. Prostitution is not new. It is there since beginning of times.
All the metropolitan cities it is legalized and considered as helpless profession.

Forced into the profession or it is the practicing profession the women who are caught ? They are not innocent. May be it is their helpless profession for earnings.
