Mangaluru: Shakthi Educational Institution inaugurates street play project on ‘Awareness of Corona’

Mangaluru, Jan 8: The staff of Shakthi Pre-School, Shakthi Residential School and PU College will put up a month-long street play project to create awareness on corona around the city from January 9 to 30. Teachers as amateur artistes will enact the influence of this pandemic and the ways of tackling it.

The inauguration of this event will be held at 10.30 am on Saturday January 9 at Customs Colony, Dattanagara Mangaluru by Dr Ashok H, nodal officer for COVID-19, DK district. The joint commissioner of Mangaluru customs, Joanne’s George C IRS will be the chief guest.

Vanitha Prasad, corporator, Dr Jagadeesh K, district surveillance officer, Dr Nashaath Farhana medical officer, UPHC Shakthinagar, Vinay Kumar and Harish gowda, the president and secretary of the Dattanagar Residents Association will be the guests of honour. Dr K C Naik the administrator of Shakthi Education Trust will preside over the function.
