Mangaluru/Udupi, Dec 26: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 34 fresh coronavirus cases on Saturday raising the tally to 32,757. Out of these, 417 cases are currently active.
A total of 4,49,141 samples have been tested. Out of which, 4,16,566 are negative.
As many as 22 people were discharged on Saturday. A total of 732 deaths have occurred so far.
Over 18,185 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 19,39,668 in fines have been collected by the authorities.
Udupi
The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 23,006, including 3 fresh cases on Saturday. Out of these, 64 cases are currently active.
Over 2,79,279 samples have been tested so far, of which 2,56,273 have turned out negative.
As many as 12 patients were discharged on Saturday. A total of 188 deaths have occurred so far
