Mangaluru/Udupi, Dec 19: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 34 fresh coronavirus cases on Saturday raising the tally to 32,556. Out of these, 437 cases are currently active.
A total of 4,29,859 samples have been tested. Out of which, 3,97,303 are negative.
As many as 33 people were discharged on Saturday. A total of 732 deaths have occurred so far.
Over 17,533 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 18,54,697 in fines have been collected by the authorities.
Udupi
The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 22,954, including 8 fresh cases on Saturday. Out of these, 110 cases are currently active.
Over 2,72,036 samples have been tested so far, of which 2,49,082 have turned out negative.
As many as 14 patients were discharged on Saturday. A total of 188 deaths have occurred so far
