Mangaluru/Udupi, Dec 18: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 38 fresh coronavirus cases on Friday raising the tally to 32,522. Out of these, 436 cases are currently active.
A total of 4,26,889 samples have been tested. Out of which, 3,94,367 are negative.
As many as 26 people were discharged on Friday, and total of 732 deaths have occured so far.
Over 17,533 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 18,54,697 in fines have been collected by the authorities.
Udupi
The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 22,946, including five fresh cases and one death on Friday. Out of these, 116 cases are currently active.
Over 2,70,061 samples have been tested so far, of which 2,47,725 have turned out negative.
As many as 14 patients were discharged on Friday. A total of 188 deaths have occured so far.
