Both Udupi and Mangalore should have Central Institutes like AIIMS . Private healthcare is destroying families, with high healthcare costs with unregulated pricing. Even today in-spite of the government order to reduce PCR tests for COVID many of the medical colleges are charging exorbitant costs . Hope the government steps in to regulate private healthcare and reign in the healthcare Mafia !!!!!

"Udupi district poised to get government medical college soon"...the dictionary meaning of soon in the Government means not near future (at least 20 years).
