Mangaluru/Udupi, Dec 15: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 38 fresh coronavirus cases on Tuesday raising the tally to 32,421. Out of these, 405 cases are currently active.

A total of 4,16,410 samples have been tested. Out of which, 3,83,989 are negative.

As many as 37 people were discharged on Tuesday, taking the total number of recoveries to 31,285.

A total of 731 deaths have occured so far.

Over 17,160 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 18,17,397 in fines have been collected by the authorities.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 22,913, including nine fresh cases on Tuesday. Out of these, 124 cases are currently active.

Over 2,67,017 samples have been tested so far, of which 2,44,104 have turned out negative.

As many as 16 patients were discharged on Tuesday. The total number of recoveries has climbed to 22,602.

A total of 187 deaths have occured so far.
