Mangaluru/Udupi, Dec 10: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 30 fresh coronavirus cases on Thursday raising the tally to 32,243. Out of these, 427 cases are currently active.

A total of 3,95,198 samples have been tested. Out of which, 3,62,955 are negative.

As many as 29 people were discharged on Thursday, taking the total number of recoveries to 31,090.

A total of 726 deaths have occured so far, including two deaths on Thursday.

Over 16,347 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 17,38,972 in fines have been collected by the authorities.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 22,843, including 16 fresh cases on Thursday. Out of these, 139 cases are currently active.

Over 2,61,013 samples have been tested so far, of which 2,38,170 have turned out negative.

As many as 12 patients were discharged on Thursday. The total number of recoveries has climbed to 22,517.

A total of 187 deaths have occured so far.
