Mangaluru/Udupi, Dec 5: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin, the district reported 37 fresh coronavirus cases on Saturday raising the tally to 32,108. Out of these, 568 cases are currently active.
A total of 3,81,314 samples have been tested. Out of which, 3,49,206 are negative.
As many as 33 people were discharged on Saturday, A total of 716 deaths have occurred so far.
Over 15,438 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 16,53,217 in fines have been collected by the authorities.
Udupi
The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 22,773, including 14 fresh cases on Saturday. Out of these, 183 cases are currently active.
Over 2,54,762 samples have been tested so far, of which 2,31,989 have turned out negative.
As many as 27 patients were discharged on Saturday. A total of 187 deaths have occured so far.
