Mangaluru, Dec 4: Back in 2005, five people had assaulted a private bus conductor for a trivial reason. A case under registration no. 21/2005 under IPC sections 143, 147, 341, 323, 506 and 149 was registered in Mangaluru south police station in this connection and four people were arrested. Another accused, Praveen (40) then aged 25 resident of Meepuguri Madhur Road in Kasargod, Kerala had evaded the arrest.

A special team was formed to nab the perp after gathering definite information under guidance from city police commissioner Vikash Kumar on Friday morning.

The team has been successful in arresting Praveen who had escaped from the police for the last 15 years. Tweeting on this matter, commissioner Vikash Kumar had said, "Youth on the run since 15 years involved in rioting in 2005 caught by Mangalore City Police. Better late than never. Crime never pays."

police arrest 1000 of criminals .... 990 will be released from in few months, even with strong evidence.... arresting wont solve the problems .. eliminating them or jailed for forever is the only solution for frequent offenders or trouble makers.
