Very bad.He is still young. One cant blame only drivers or people crossing the roads. There are nt crossing signs ,where people have to cross other side.Even there are people who dont care or wait till a vehicle pass away .same time vehicles too dont care if a person wants to cross and waits for long, have no chance.when a car hits a electric pole means he was driving in high speed.Everyone has to oblige to rules.when not have to bear with consequences however bitter it is.wish him fast recovery .Get well young man.

If the man (Driver) would have the common sense to drive slow this wouldn't happen what if the boy checked before crossing and then the driver came in full speed. If you think the driver was enough educated why did he run away.

I can't blame driver in this situation, see it's a national highway one has to be careful while crossing. Jay walking attracts fine in many countries. Hope this kid gets well.

    You are right
In Mangalore... everyday morning you can see, so many 'the so called educated elites' go walking on the road only.

In many places in managlore it seems safer to walk on the road edge than the gravel mounds at the side called footpaths.
