Dec 3: Dakshina Kannada records 35 fresh corona cases, 2 deaths; Udupi reports 28 new infections

Mangaluru/Udupi, Dec 3: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 35 fresh coronavirus cases on Thursday raising the tally to 32,029. Out of these, 433 cases are currently active.

As many as 66 people were discharged on Thursday, taking the total number of recoveries to 30,877.

A total of 715 deaths have occured so far, including two on Thursday.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 22,745, including 28 fresh cases on Thursday. Out of these, 199 cases are currently active.

Over 2,51,181 samples have been tested so far, of which 2,28,436 have turned out negative.

As many as 18 patients were discharged on Thursday. The total number of recoveries has climbed to 22,359.

A total of 187 deaths have occured so far.
