Mangaluru/Udupi, Nov 26: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 57 fresh coronavirus cases on Thursday raising the tally to 31,721. Out of these, 549 cases are currently active.

A total of 3,50,115 samples have been tested. Out of which, 3,18,394 are negative.

As many as 47 people were discharged on Thursday, taking the total number of recoveries to 30,463.

A total of 709 deaths have occured so far.

Over 14,353 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 15,47,302 in fines have been collected by the authorities.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 22,579, including 25 fresh cases on Thursday. Out of these, 191 cases are currently active.

Over 2,30,980 samples have been tested so far, of which 2,08,401 have turned out negative.

As many as 21 patients were discharged on Thursday. The total number of recoveries has climbed to 22,201.

A total of 187 deaths have occured so far.
