Nov 24: Dakshina Kannada records 31 fresh corona cases, Udupi 17; zero deaths in twin districts

Mangaluru/Udupi, Nov 24: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 31 fresh coronavirus cases on Tuesday raising the tally to 31,625. Out of these, 529 cases are currently active.

A total of 3,41,486 samples have been tested. Out of which, 3,10,221 are negative.

As many as 52 people were discharged on Tuesday, taking the total number of recoveries to 30,338.

A total of 708 deaths have occured so far.

Over 14,132 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 15,26,242 in fines have been collected by the authorities.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 22,536, including 17 fresh cases on Tuesday. Out of these, 179 cases are currently active.

Over 2,25,632 samples have been tested so far, of which 2,03,096 have turned out negative.

As many as 15 patients were discharged on Tuesday. The total number of recoveries has climbed to 22,170.

A total of 187 deaths have occured so far.

    How come only 14 thousand odd people are found not wearing mask? 90% of the people in Mangalore are not wearing mask in public places. Please increase the vigilance and implement the law before it is too late.
