Nov 13: Dakshina Kannada records 67 fresh corona cases, Udupi registers 20

Mangaluru/Udupi, Nov 13: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 67 fresh coronavirus cases on Friday raising the tally to 31,185. Out of these, 873 cases are currently active.

A total of 2,93,579 samples have been tested. Out of which, 2,62,394 are negative.

As many as 72 people were discharged on Friday, taking the total number of recoveries to 29,622.

A total of 690 deaths have occurred so far.

Over 12,478 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 13,55,332 in fines have been collected by the authorities.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 22,328 including 20 fresh cases on Friday. Out of these, 300 cases are currently active.

Over 2,07,556 samples have been tested so far, of which 1,85,228 have turned out negative.

As many as 51 patients were discharged on Friday. The total number of recoveries has climbed to 21,842.

A total of 187 deaths have occurred so far.
