Nov 10: Dakshina Kannada records 87 fresh corona cases, 1 death; Udupi reports 27 new infections

Mangaluru/Udupi, Nov 10: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 87 fresh coronavirus cases on Tuesday raising the tally to 31,002. Out of these, 888 cases are currently active.

A total of 2,80,861 samples have been tested. Out of which, 2,49,859 are negative.

As many as 69 people were discharged on Tuesday, taking the total number of recoveries to 29,425.

A total of 689 deaths have occured so far, including one on Tuesday.

Over 11,930 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 12,99,342 in fines have been collected by the authorities.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 22,259, including 27 fresh cases on Tuesday. Out of these, 333 cases are currently active.

Over 2,01,149 samples have been tested so far, of which 1,78,890 have turned out negative.

As many as 47 patients were discharged on Tuesday. The total number of recoveries has climbed to 21,740.

A total of 187 deaths have occured so far.
