Mangaluru/Udupi, Nov 7: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 72 fresh coronavirus cases on Saturday raising the tally to 30,819. Out of these, 1,029 cases are currently active.

A total of 2,72,988 samples have been tested. Out of which, 2,42,169 are negative.

As many as 169 people were discharged on Saturday. A total of 687 deaths have occurred so far, including one on Saturday.

Over 11,406 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 12,46,892 in fines have been collected by the authorities.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 22,161, including 18 fresh cases on Saturday. Out of these, 377 cases are currently active.

Over 1,96,133 samples have been tested so far, of which 1,73,972 have turned out negative.
As many as 66 patients were discharged on Saturday.

A total of 187 deaths have occurred so far, including one on Saturday.
