Nov 2: Dakshina Kannada records 51 fresh corona cases, Udupi 31; two deaths in twin districts

Mangaluru/Udupi, Nov 2: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 51 fresh coronavirus cases on Monday raising the tally to 30,392. Out of these, 1712 cases are currently active.

As many as 121 people were discharged on Monday, taking the total number of recoveries to 27,999.

A total of 679 deaths have occured so far, including one on Monday.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 21,965, including 31 fresh cases on Monday. Out of these, 551 cases are currently active.

Over 1,86,878 samples have been tested so far, of which 1,64,913 have turned out negative.

As many as 137 patients were discharged on Monday. The total number of recoveries has climbed to 21,232.

A total of 183 deaths have occured so far, including one death on Monday.
