Mangaluru/Udupi, Nov 1: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 99 fresh coronavirus cases on Sunday raising the tally to 30,341. Out of these, 1,784 cases are currently active.
Over 2,62,808 samples have been tested so far, of which 2,32,467 have turned out negative.
As many as 67 people were discharged on Sunday, taking the total number of recoveries to 27,879.
A total of 678 deaths have occured so far, including one on Sunday.
Udupi
The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 21,933, including 49 fresh cases on Sunday. Out of these, 657 cases are currently active.
Over 1,85,587 samples have been tested so far, of which 1,63,654 have turned out negative.
As many as 143 patients were discharged on Sunday. The total number of recoveries has climbed to 21,095.
A total of 182 deaths have occured so far.
