Mangaluru/Udupi, Oct 30: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 137 fresh coronavirus cases on Friday raising the tally to 30,147. Out of these, 1,830 cases are currently active.
Over 2,58,554 samples have been tested so far, of which 2,28,407 have turned out negative.
As many as 198 people were discharged on Friday, taking the total number of recoveries to 27,641.
A total of 676 deaths have occured so far, including three on Friday.
Udupi
The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 21,837, including 45 fresh cases on Friday. Out of these, 818 cases are currently active.
Over 1,81,356 samples have been tested so far, of which 1,59,519 have turned out negative.
As many as 97 patients were discharged on Friday. The total number of recoveries has climbed to 20,838.
A total of 182 deaths have occured so far.
