Kasargod: Sachidananda Bharati Sripada ascends as new seer of Edneer Math

Kasargod, Oct 28: Sachidananda Bharati Sripada ascended as the new seer of Edneer Math on Wednesday among celebrations and shouting of slogans from the Vedas. Ganapathi Havana, Chandika Homa and poojas were held prior to it in the morning. Bharathi Vijayendra Saraswati in a programme held in Kanchi ordained Bharati Sripada as a monk on Monday. The ascension took place with a golden crown.

Palimar Math seer Vishwaprasanna Theertha Swamiji and Subrahmanya seer Vidya Prasanna Theertha Swamiji blessed the occasion.

Saraswati Swamiji of Kasargod Chinmaya mission, Vivikthananda Saraswati Swamiji, Kateel temple’s Kamaladevi Asra, Harinarayana Asra, Karnataka government endowment department minister Srinivas Poojary, MP Rajmohan Unnithan, Kannada Sahitya Parishat former president Harikrishna Punaroor, district Sahitya Parishat president Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, ascension committee honorary president Sham Bhat, Kollur temple’s Narasimha Adiga, Balekudru Math representatives, Pejawar Math’s Raghurama Acharya, Brahmashree Ravish Tantry Kuntaru, Karnataka Bank head Mahabaleshwar Bhat, ascension committee president advocate K Shrikanth, other elite people and people representatives were present.

Dharmastala temple, Kanipura Gopalakrishna temple, Ananthapura, Ananthapadmanabhaswamy temple, Madhur Madanantheshwara temple, Ajjavara temple, Agalpady temple, Belloor temple, Balekudru Math and Kanchi Math were honoured with prasadam. Brahmashree Hiranya Venkatesh Bhat compered the programme.
