Oct 24: Dakshina Kannada reports 136 new corona cases, three deaths; Udupi adds 79 cases

Mangaluru/Udupi, Oct 24: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 136 fresh coronavirus cases on Saturday raising the tally to 29,401. Out of these, 2,616 cases are currently active.

As many as 300 people were discharged on Saturday, taking the total number of recoveries to 26,125.

A total of 660 deaths have occured so far, including three on Saturday.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 21,431, including 79 fresh cases on Saturday. Out of these, 1,314 cases are currently active.
As many as 173 patients were discharged on Saturday. The total number of recoveries has climbed to 19,927.
