Bengaluru: Bypoll - Nalin predicts drubbing for Congress leaders Siddarmaaiah, Shivakumar

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Oct 22: "The DJ Halli riot bears testimony to the fact that former chief minister Siddamaiaih, and KPCC president D K Shivakumar hate each other. Because of their fight, once the bypoll result is out, Huliya (Siddaramaiah) will be relegated to the forest and the rock (Shivakumar) will get pulverized," ridiculed state BJP president, Nalin Kumar Kateel.

He was speaking after welcoming several Congress and JD(S) leaders into the party at the city office of the BJP on Wednesday, October 21.

"Siddaramiah and Shivakumar are engaged in a game of one-upmanship. Shivakumar is doing his best to defeat Congress candidate T B Jayachandra in Sira constituency while in R R Nagar constituency, Siddaramaiah is trying to defeat his own party candidate, Kusuma," he claimed.

Nalin said that several Congress and JD(S) leaders have come into the party and termed this is just the beginning. "Many top leaders of these parties and people's representatives will be joining the BJP. People are fed up with Siddarmaaiah's divide and rule policy and Shivakumar's goonda mindset. JD(S) leaders are frustrated by family politics of H D Deve Gowda and his children," he claimed.
