Oct 9: 376 fresh corona cases in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi reports 179; 3 deaths in twin districts

Mangaluru/Udupi, Oct 9: Dakshina Kannada reported 376 fresh coronavirus cases and two deaths on Friday.

As per the district health bulletin, a total of 25,948 positive cases have been reported till date, out of which 4,498 are currently active. A total of 1,88,689 samples have been tested, out of which 1,62,741 are negative.

As many as 20,854 patients have recovered and been discharged from hospital, including 268 on Friday. A total of 596 deaths have occured so far, including two on Friday.

Udupi

As per the district health bulletin, Udupi reported 179 fresh coronavirus cases and one death on Friday.

As per the district health bulletin, a total of 18,985 positive cases have been reported till date, out of which 1,952 are currently active. A total of 1,40,812 samples have been tested, out of which 1,21,827 are negative.

As many as 16,917 patients have recovered and been discharged from hospital, including 225 on Friday. A total of 163 deaths have occured so far, including one on Friday.
