Oct 8: 296 fresh corona cases in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi reports 210; 7 deaths in twin districts

Mangaluru/Udupi, Oct 8: Dakshina Kannada reported 296 fresh cases and six deaths on Thursday.

As per the district health bulletin, a total of 25,572 positive cases have been reported till date, out of which 4,392 are currently active. A total of 1,84,415 samples have been tested, out of which 1,58,843 are negative.

As many as 20,586 patients have recovered and been discharged from hospital, including 586 on Thursday. A total of 594 deaths have occured so far, including six on Thursday.

Udupi

As per the district health bulletin, Udupi reported 210 fresh cases and one death on Thursday.

As per the district health bulletin, a total of 18,779 positive cases have been reported till date, out of which 1,952 are currently active. A total of 1,38,651 samples have been tested, out of which 1,19,872 are negative.

As many as 16,692 patients have recovered and been discharged from hospital, including 379 on Thursday. A total of 162 deaths have occured so far, including one on Thursday.
