Mangaluru/Udupi, Oct 7: Dakshina Kannada reported 447 new coronavirus cases and seven deaths on Wednesday.
Over 1,214 people were discharged on Wednesday taking the total discharges in the district to 20,000.
As many as 25,276 confirmed cases of coronavirus have been reported so far in the district, including 447 on Wednesday, and 4,686 cases are currently active.
As per the state bulletin, 588 deaths have occurred till date in the district.
Udupi
As per the state health bulletin, Udupi reported 209 fresh coronavirus cases and two deaths on Wednesday.
Over 185 people were discharged on Wednesday raising the total discharges in the district to 16,313.
As many as 18,571 confirmed cases of coronavirus have been reported so far in the district, including 209 on Wednesday and 2,096 cases are currently active.
As per the state bulletin, 162 deaths have occurred so far in the district.
