Mangaluru/Udupi, Oct 6: Dakshina Kannada reported 272 new coronavirus cases and seven deaths on Tuesday.
Over 382 people were discharged on Tuesday taking the total discharges in the district to 18,786.
As many as 24,829 confirmed cases of coronavirus have been reported so far in the district, including 272 on Tuesday, and 5,460 cases are currently active.
As per the state bulletin, 581 deaths have occurred till date in the district.
Udupi
As per the state health bulletin, Udupi reported 224 fresh coronavirus cases and three deaths on Tuesday.
Over 384 people were discharged on Tuesday raising the total discharges in the district to 16,128.
As many as 18,362 confirmed cases of coronavirus have been reported so far in the district, including 118 on Tuesday and 2,074 cases are currently active.
As per the state bulletin, 160 deaths have occurred so far in the district.
