Mangaluru/Udupi, Oct 5: Dakshina Kannada reported 245 new coronavirus cases and six deaths on Monday.
Over 261 people were discharged on Monday taking the total discharges in the district to 18,404.
As many as 24,557 confirmed cases of coronavirus have been reported so far in the district, including 245 on Monday, and 5,577 cases are currently active.
As per the state bulletin, 574 deaths have occurred till date in the district.
Udupi
As per the state health bulletin, Udupi reported 118 fresh coronavirus cases and three deaths on Monday.
Over 23 people were discharged on Monday raising the total discharges in the district to 15,744.
As many as 18,138 confirmed cases of coronavirus have been reported so far in the district, including 118 on Monday and 2,237 cases are currently active.
As per the state bulletin, 157 deaths have occurred so far in the district.
