Oct 2: 322 corona cases in DK, Udupi reports 212; 13 deaths in twin districts

Mangaluru/Udupi, Oct 2: Dakshina Kannada reported 322 new coronavirus cases and 12 deaths on Friday.
 
Over 277 people were discharged on Friday taking the total discharges in the district to 17,365.
 
As many as 23,761 confirmed cases of coronavirus have been reported so far in the district, including 322 on Friday, and 5,837 cases are currently active.
 
 
As per the state bulletin, 557 deaths have occurred till date in the district.
 
Udupi
 
As per the state health bulletin, Udupi reported 212 fresh coronavirus cases and one death on Friday.
 
Over 68 people were discharged on Friday raising the total discharges in the district to 15,365.
 
As many as 17,631 confirmed cases of coronavirus have been reported so far in the district, including 212 on Friday and 2,115 cases are currently active.
 
As per the state bulletin, 151 deaths have occurred so far in the district.
