Mangaluru/Udupi, Sep 30: Dakshina Kannada reported 240 new coronavirus cases and 10 deaths on Wednesday.
Over 299 people were discharged on Wednesday taking the total discharges in the district to 16,801.
As many as 22,946 confirmed cases of coronavirus have been reported so far in the district, including 240 on Wednesday, and 5,609 cases are currently active.
As per the state bulletin, 534 deaths have occurred till date in the district.
Udupi
As per the state health bulletin, Udupi reported 139 fresh coronavirus cases and one death on Wednesday.
Over 187 people were discharged on Wednesday taking the total discharges in the district to 14,968.
As many as 17,144 confirmed cases of coronavirus have been reported so far in the district, including 139 on Wednesday and 2,029 cases are currently active. As per the state bulletin, 147 deaths have occurred so far in the district.
