Mangaluru/Udupi, Sep 29: Dakshina Kannada reported 362 new coronavirus cases and nine deaths on Tuesday.
Over 232 people were discharged on Tuesday taking the total discharges in the district to 16,502.
As many as 22,706 confirmed cases of coronavirus have been reported so far in the district, including 362 on Tuesday, and 5,678 cases are currently active.
As per the state bulletin, 524 deaths have occurred till date in the district.
Udupi
As per the state health bulletin, Udupi reported 319 fresh coronavirus cases and two deaths on Tuesday.
Over 69 people were discharged on Tuesday taking the total discharges in the district to 14,781.
As many as 17,005 confirmed cases of coronavirus have been reported so far in the district, including 319 on Tuesday and 2,078 cases are currently active. As per the state bulletin, 146 deaths have occurred so far in the district.
