Mumbai: Union minister Ramdas Athwale suggests BJP, Shiv Sena unite in Maharashtra

Mumbai, Sep 29: Union minister Ramdas Athwale suggested the two saffron powers in Maharashtra, the Shiv Sena and BJP reunite to form the government in the state and suggested a power-sharing formula between the two parties.

The RPI(A) chief, while speaking to the media said that Uddhav Thackeray, the Shiv Sena president can continue being the chief minister for another year and Fadnavis could take over for the remaining of the current three years assembly term. He further said that one or two portfolios could be given at the centre.

As the Shiv Sena does not forge ties with the BJP, he Athwale said that Sharad Pawar, the NCP chief could join the National Democratic Alliance.

Athwale's suggestions came after a meeting between Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut and Fadnavis on Saturday, September 26 created a buzz in the political circle.


However, both clarified later that the meeting was not related to any political issues.

    Looks like all efforts by the Central Agencies in collusion with the Godi Media and Kangana have obviously failed to dilodge the Shiv Sena led Govt and so now the White flag of Surrender. Hope the Shiv Sena will not fall into the trap being laid by the BJP.
