Sep 27: 460 fresh corona cases in DK, Udupi reports 320; 7 deaths in twin districts

Mangaluru/Udupi, Sep 27: In yet another major spike, Dakshina Kannada reported 460 new coronavirus cases and six deaths on Sunday.

Over 134 people were discharged on Sunday taking the total discharges in the district to 16,080.

As many as 22,127 confirmed cases of coronavirus have been reported so far in the district, including 460 on Sunday, and 5,537 cases are currently active.

As per the state bulletin, 508 deaths have occurred till date in the district.

Udupi

As per the state health bulletin, Udupi reported 320 fresh coronavirus cases and one death on Sunday.

Over 122 people were discharged on Sunday raising the total discharges in the district to 14,517.

As many as 16,354 confirmed cases of coronavirus have been reported so far in the district, including 320 on Sunday and 1,693 cases are currently active. As per the state bulletin, 144 deaths have occurred so far in the district.
