Mangaluru: Sahyadri emerges as top performing college under KSCST 43rd series of SPP

Mangaluru, Sep 24: Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology (KSCST) is an autonomous Science and Technology organization under the Department of Science & Technology, Government of Karnataka.

It ventured into a Student Project Programme (SPP) from 1977-78 to provide financial and academic support to Bachelor Engineering projects. Being the first of its kind in the nation, from its venture, it has been promoting research, innovation and development thereby having an impact in improving the quality of technical education.

For the academic year 2019-20 under SSCST 43rd series of Student Project Programme, Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management, Mangaluru secured funds for 37 sanctioned projects and five of them are awarded Best Project of the Year. The institute also gladly announces that Sahyadri has emerged as a top institute in the state for both numbers of projects sanctioned and best projects awarded.
