Liberty General launches new health insurance cover


Chennai, Sep 22 (IANS): With health insurance gaining traction following the outbreak of Covid-19, private non-life insurer Liberty General Insurance Company Ltd on Tuesday launched new health cover.

The insurer's new product `HealthPrime Connect' offers comprehensive health insurance cover with no sub-limits (limits on claims under different heads), no co-pays and without a cap on hospital room rent.

According to Liberty General, the policy offers life long renewal benefit and a sum insured up to Rs 1 crore.

The policy has been introduced in three variants, viz., HealthPrime Connect Essential, HealthPrime Connect Optimum, and HealthPrime Connect Optimum Plus.

According to Roopam Asthana, CEO and Wholetime Director, with the launch of new health insurance cover, Liberty General reinforces its focus on the health insurance segment with a comprehensive and differentiated product.
