Sullia: 'Cabinet expansion exercise limited to filling three slots' - Nalin

Daijiworld Media Network - Sullia (SP)

Sullia, Aug 1: BJP state president and MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, clarified that expansion of the state ministry and offering the post of minister to Sullia MLA S Angara, are left to the discretion of the chief minister.

He was speaking to media persons after visiting an employment skill training camp being organized to achieve the goal of self-reliant India. The training programme is under way at the Sullia APMC auditorium under the aegis of Sullia Agricultural Produce Market Committee, Sahakara Bharathi, Dakshina Kannada Unit, Vivekananda Vidyavardhaka Sangha Puttur and Mangaluru division of Grama Vikasa.

"We will be making efforts to make sure that S Angara becomes a minister. There is no possibility of the ministry being revamped now. The expansion exercise will be limited to giving ministries to three people. The chief minister will discuss with the BJP high command and take a decision," Nalin explained.

Kateel noted that coronavirus pandemic has resulted in the economic slump of the country. "The Prime Minister formulated a plan to release grant amounting to Rs 20 lac crore in the coming days as a symbol of self-esteem of India and to inspire the entrepreneurial skills of the young people of the country in tune with the goal of self-reliance he had announced.” Nalin praised the training camp being run with the appreciable aim of creating employment through industries based on indigenous ideals.

MLA Angara should be inducted in the cabinet. He is a five time member of Karnataka Legislative Assembly so he should be in the cabinet. Nalin being the BJP state president should see to it that Angara becomes a minister. What happens to BJP's Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas?

Our PM Modi asks for 'Minimum government maximum governance'. But Karnataka BJP government which formed from 'operation Kamala', it is 'Maximum Deputy Chief Minister, minimum governance'.

Does it really require BJP to have so many ministers when all the department are handled by PMO or Home Minister?

If you ask question on Finance, Ministry of Ayush will answer. If questions asked from Ministry of Foreign Affairs then Home Ministry will answer.

The PM Modi's 'Athmanirbhar' governance is like Arts teacher is asked to give lessons on Mathematics. That's the reason Spokesperson of the party who is Doctor unable to count how many 'Zero's' in trillion. He refers Nehru if ask question on Modi.
