Kasargod: Murder-accused on the run, police issue lookout notice

Kasargod, Jul 29: The police here have issued a lookout notice for finding a murder-accused who had escaped from the police. The man who is now on the run in the case happens to be Abdul Aziz (32) from Ajjavara in Sullia taluk.

Aziz is one of the accused in the murder of a lady named Zubaida at Ayambara within Bekal police station limits. He along with a few others, had murdered the lady and robbed her gold ornaments. He had been arrested and was produced in the court at Sullia. When being escorted back to Kasargod from there, he escaped from the police grip in Sullia town and went missing. In spite of their best efforts, the police were unable to nab him. The district police here have announced reward of two lac rupees to anyone who helps in finding him or provides information about him.



The said 60-year-old woman had been found murdered on January 19, 2018.The police who investigated the case, had arrested four persons including Aziz. Abdul Khader from Madhur Kotekani, Bawa Aziz from Padanna, and Harshad from Manya were the other arrested accused in the case. Aziz was produced in Sullia court relating to a case he was involved there and was being taken back to Kasargod when he ran away and remains untraced. Even after a year since this escape, the police have failed to find him out. Therefore, the police have issued lookout notice which has been displayed in prominent locations in Kerala and Karnataka.

The police have claimed that Abdul Aziz faces several cases in both Kasargod and Dakshina Kannada districts.

    Without the knowledge of the police it's difficult to remain at large for such a long time. They must have already cleaned him up of all his ill gotten wealth, used him for some more loot and now may be eyeing up the taxpayer money as reward. After some time the reward amount will be increased to 10 lakhs and then he will be caught?

    Guys ! dont waste the taxpayers money on this matter. You know he is a criminal and you are unable to prove it in the court, thus he get the bail and then he starts another adventure, again he will give you headache, again on the run and look out notice with reward of 10 lakh Rs. so, you got the point here ...... he was on the run and the police dont have any other alternative other than en................

    Accused consumed Alcohol but was not fully drunk because
    even after killing he had the presence of mind to burn the body
    to destroy evidence. Hence Death is Inevitable...
