Udupi district records two more deaths due to coronavirus, toll climbs to 15

Udupi, Jul 26: Coronavirus claimed two more lives in Udupi district on Sunday July 26.

Both the deceased, a man and a woman, are elderly and had been suffering from various other ailments.

While one is a 63-year-old resident of Byndoor, the other is from Udupi's Indiranagar area.


Both had been admitted to the ICU of a private hospital. While the Byndoor resident passed away on the night of Saturday July 26, the Udupi resident died on Sunday.

With this, the total number of deaths in Udupi district due to coronavirus has gone up to 15.

The last rites of both the deceased were conducted as per protocol.
