Mangaluru, Jul 8: The branch office of Miracles of Milagres Credit Souhardha Co-Op Ltd, the first co-operative society in Mangaluru with IFSC code, was inaugurated at Balmatta here on Wednesday, July 8.
Dr Aloysius Paul D'Souza, bishop emeritus of Mangalore diocese, blessed the office premises. Fr Joseph Jerald Lobo, parish priest, Milagres Church, Mangaluru, attended the inaugural event as guest of honour. Managing director Mohammad Iqbal, vice president Sirajuddin Sheikh, and branch manager Mamtha Rebello, were present on the dais.
In his inaugural speech, Dr Aloysius Paul D'Souza, “The entire world is passing through a difficult time. People are facing a lot of problems. It is very difficult to start a new venture. But the management of Miracles of Milagres Credit Souhardha Co-Op Ltd took a bold step and decided to open their business. Blessed are who are close to people. Experienced people are leading this finance institution. I am sure their experience will lead them towards success. There are so many banks in our surroundings. But people choose the bank which gives the best service. Hope Miracles of Milagres will go forward this way. I wish the best to the management and the entire team.”
Fr Joseph Jerald Lobo said, “These is a saying, 'A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step'. It is applicable to Miracles of Milagres Credit Souhardha Co-Op Ltd also. There is no easy definition for success. Only by confidence, skill and excellence, we can achieve success. Every bank depends on trust and satisfaction of the customer. The management of the new credit society knows it very well and hope they will act as required. I wish all the success and fruitful years ahead to the entire management and shareholders."
Mohammad Iqbal welcomed the dignitaries and the gathering. Mamtha Rebello welcomed the guests with floral bouquets. Roshan Crasta rendered the vote of thanks and compered the event.
