Udupi: Yogish murder case – Police identify six accused

Udupi, Jul 7: Police have identified six accused who hacked Yogish to death. Yogish was found murdered late night on Sunday July 6.

Police said that Rohith Pinto, Sujith Pinto, Pradeep alias Annu, Vinay, Anup and another person whose identity is not revealed, arrived in a car and hacked Yogish to death, due to past enmity near Laxminagar, Thenkanidiyoor on Sunday at 11.30 pm. 

The accused stabbed Yogish with sharp weapons on his stomach and back before fleeing in the car used for the crime.

Police officials have formed three teams under the leadership of Udupi circle inspector Manjunath consisting of Malpe police and Udupi city crime sub-inspector to nab the suspects. Superintendent of police Vishnuvardhan has said that the accused will be arrested soon.

A case is registered at Malpe police station in this connection.
