Bantwal, Jun 26: SSLC students have completed the first day of their final examination by maintaining social distance and taking other precautions against coronavirus infection successfully.

An SSLC student who appeared for the examination at S V S high school Bantwal turned out to be an inspiration for the entire student community. The education minister was also bowled over by the spirit of the student.

In spite of hurdles he has been facing, the student in question, Kaushik, appeared for the examination and answered the questions by sitting on the floor and using his toes to write answers. With his total determination and hard work to remain self-reliant, he has emerged as a model for other students by winning over his drawbacks.

Kaushik, a resident of Kanchikaara Pete in Bantwal, is the son of Rajesh and Jalajakshi Acharya.

Even though born without limbs, Kaushik has excelled in life and proved he is not less than anyone. He is studying SSLC at SVS Kannada medium school in Bantwal. He is good in extra curriculum activities apart from his academics.

Since first standard, Kaushik is writing exams with his toes, who has turned out to be an inspiration for the student community.

Apart from studies, Kaushik is good in dance, drawing, swimming, cricket and has bagged several prizes.

Primary and secondary education minister, S Suresh Kumar, has shared his feelings of elation in a tweet. He has praised the student by commenting that people like Kaushik provide meaning of fulfilment to one's life.
