Mangaluru: Physical Education department, NCC St Agnes College (autonomous) conduct yoga webinar

Mangaluru, Jun 21: On International Yoga Day 2020, a webinar on ‘Yoga for Inner Well Being’ was organized by the Department of Physical Education and National Cadet Corps (NCC) at St Agnes, (Autonomous) here.

The webinar was conducted on June 21 by encouragement and support of the principal, Sr Dr M Venissa AC. The resource person for the webinar was Yogarathna Gopalakrishna Delpampady. Delampady, began his session with a prayer and delivered a warm message. Refreshing the attendees, he demonstrated the various yoga techniques for different people of different age groups. The demo was done by Delampady and Kavya (III BSc). He also addressed the various advantages of yoga for all ages.



Students, NCC cadets (armywing, 18 Kar Btn NCC, Mangaluru, 6 Kar Air NCC, Mangaluru, Flight C, St Agnes College, academicians of various schools and colleges also participated in the webinar. Lt Gayathri BK, ANO, armywing (assistant professor, Political Science), Dr Hithakshi Anand, ANO, Airwing, (HOD, Psychology, UG), Vasudha S, physical educator were the organizers of the programme.
