Kerala, Jun 10: “The wedding of Veena Thayikkandiyil, the eldest daughter of Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan is fixed,” report local newspapers in Kerala.
She is to get married to CPIM youth unit Democratic Youth Federation of India national president Mohammed Riaz.
It is the second marriage for Veena and Mohammed Riaz. Veena who is employed in an IT company in Bengaluru is separated from her husband. She has a five-year-old son. Riaz too has obtained divorce from his wife. He has two sons.
It is said that their simple wedding ceremony will be held in the presence of close relatives on June 15. Riaz had contested as CPIM candidate in 2009 Lok Sabha elections and had lost.
