Daijiworld Media Network -Mangaluru (ANK)

Mangaluru, May 6: District in-charge minister Kota Srinivas Poojary has directed authorities to trace the origin of coronavirus positive cases at First Neuro hospital and submit the report to the government.

As many as three positive cases were reported on Thursday, May 6. An emergency meeting was called in this regard and the authorities were ordered to trace the source of the deadly infection at First Neuro
hospital.

The minister also directed the deputy commissioner and district health officer to conduct an in-depth investigation with the help of medical team and submit a report to the government. This would help to erase the doubts among the public regarding the source of positive cases in the hospital.

District health officer Dr Ramachandra Bayari said, "We have already found the details of the contact of positive patients from the hospital and there is a lot of progress in the investigation.

“There is delay in receiving sample test reports because a lot of samples have been collected. However, the testing lab has not stopped functioning,” he said.

Meanwhile, looking into the matters of stranded migrant workers, the minister said, “Friday, May 7 will be the last date for free buses for migrant workers to travel back to their respective destinations. So far, over 11,000 workers have travelled back to their native places in 433 buses mostly from North Karnataka.

“Friday, May 7 will also be the last date for free buses for the migrant workers to travel back to their destinations. Buses have been arranged from KSRTC bus stand Lalbagh for the migrant workers,” he said.

On matters of resuming running of business establishments, he said that cloth stores and textile shops would be open from May 7 after several demands from the public. “Shops are instructed to strictly close the trial rooms and maintain social distancing. But malls will not open,” clarified Poojary.

Since it's a airborne infection spread through infected aerosols, it will not be possible to detect who first bought the infection to the hospital as the hospital might have been running full capacity; and why it's so important now when CORONA is on the run.....Pusuka!

Many questions unanswered,,1)Why enquiry so late? 2) Why the patients discharged and sent home when hospital sealed down ? 3) The patients from Shakthinagar and Boloor were at first nuoro when sealdown happened? If so why they were quarantined immediately and sent to Covid hospital? 4) How the hospital infected when the all DK was almost corona free? 5) Why the people are not informed? 6) Had they quarentined all the staff immediately when lockdown? If then how the staff from Panemangalore infected and the place sealed down?7) When the officials will break the chain of corona infected from this place?..

Just announce the investigation and wash your hands and results never come in public. If it is case of Muslim patients then no investigation no covid19 it's jihad against nation. The partial behaviour of system is the root cause of all deseases in India.

I have heard some Senior doctors have visited First Neuro to Check and consult other patients, But those Seniors Doctors are not been Quarantined. This I heard from some source. When some doctors discussing one of doctor told no once have contacted him to Quarantine himself. I feel this kind of negligence from doctors is not expected. I don't know How much is true. Just giving heads up people be safe,

Cynthia, Bhandumaam seemed to be very worried after the new cases from Bantwal, Boloor, Shakti Nagar etc., & was contemplating further extension in lockdown for another 2 months at least!
Now, socioeconomic effects of CORONA will start showing up; much more painful and prolonged period...

One of the best honest district in-charge DK has ever seen. The origin is not First neuro hospital it's a patient who came from Kerala and got admitted saying they are from Udupi. This is why Govt doesn't want to involve pvt hospitals and labs but Pappu party lobbying on behalf of them.

    Roshan

In Bangalore everything is opened from Monday itself and even some autos are running except buses. In buses also for emergency services and apthamithra services are running.
During lockdown also blore was almost normal not like mangalore with so much restrictions. During lockdown also in blore all grocery shops, meat shops, hotels for parcel and alot of street vendors selling vegetables and fruits were there. And ppl also moving freely with little restrictions.

In mlore it was done over.

Now with so much restrictions during lockdown why cases started to increase. For the virus to come it doesn't depend on any kind of restrictions. It mainly how we take it, with our hygiene and safety.

Please provide testing kits for tracking to be effective instead of running after everyone and putting them in quarantine for weeks. A comparatively larger cost and effort excercise compared to quick tests.

    Sir,
Please do not allow textile shop for another three weeks as there will be mad rush to buy clothes due to festive season.

Last four days, mangaloreans have shown great amount of maturity as we can see few people and vehicles on the road (except Monday morning rush because of Liquor stores reopening and also ration distribution.

Since all recent cases have a hospital link, pleasure ensure a impartial investigation so that we know what went wrong and how we can mitigate it.
