Happy that David is back on bail. I only wish him good luck.
We need to take a lesson or two from this episode:
    1) Don’t give mobile phone to wives, if at all given don’t permit them to chat with priests.
    2) Don't give a single mobile/s to the priests and don’t allow them to chat with wives.
Be safe and let others be safe.

    Dear George Mangalore,

Just wondering if your wife has a mobile (cell) phone and if you have limited her talking to her friends, family members and her parish priest or any other priests. Just asking. Remember one should practice what they preach. Otherwise they are hypocrites. I am sure you are aware of the same!

Now, in this situation who is trained for 7 years before ordination? Though the woman concerned was trying to chat with him, it was the "sheperds" duty to warn her & block her considering his responsible position as a leader/example setter to the laity!

IMHO, COVID19 is not showing much virulent activity here, considering our population density, poverty, hygiene, ignorance, etc. as compared to if we were to extrapolate what deadly it has been in most advanced countries!

Let's not spread CORONA phobia further; the socioeconomic effects of CORONA, though, will be very painful & prolonged compared to the direct havoc COVID19 has wreaked!
