Gujarat to be self-reliant to fight Covid-19

Gandhinagar, Apr 6 (IANS): The Gujarat government on Monday announced that it is confident on readying itself for being self-reliant to fight the battle against the Covid-19 threat. The officials expressed that the state is fully ready to fight against any dire situation with 'Make in Gujarat' health care products.

Informing the media on Monday, Ashwini Kumar, Secretary to the Chief Minister's Office (CMO), said, "After the successful launching and testing of the 'Make in Gujarat' product 'Dhaman-1' a ventilator for Covid-19 patients, Gujarat manufacturers are once again ready to provide the much needed personal protection equipment (PPE) kits and N95 masks, which are urgently needed for the prevention of the dreaded disease."
