Bengaluru: Well-known Sandalwood actor Bullet Prakash passes away at 44

Bengaluru, Apr 6: Bullet Prakash, renowned comedian of Sandalwood, died of liver ailment on Monday, April 6 in the city. He was 44.

Prakash was hospitalized in a private hospital in the city on Sunday as his condition became serious. He was later shifted into ventilator as his condition worsened. He featured in more than 300 films and was mainly known for his huge body and distinctive appearance on the silver screen.

The actor was suffering from gastric issues and liver ailment also. In addition, he had lost 35 kilos in just five months. This sudden reduction of weight also resulted in many health complications to the actor.

Prakash had acted in Tamil and other language movies also besides Kannada films. He made his debut in the film industry through the Kannada movie 'Dhruva'. He used to ride a Royal Enfield Bullet bike always and was nick named as Bullet Prakash for this reason. He was also a member of BJP, which he joined in 2015.

Bullet Prakash had acted with almost all the super stars of Sandalwood like Darshan, Shivrajkumar, Puneeth Rajkumar, Upendra and Sudeep. His movies 'Mast Maja Madi', 'Bheeshma', 'Bombay Mittai' and Jackie were superhits.
