Lockdown day 10: No positive coronavirus cases since two days in DK, Udupi

Mangaluru, Apr 3: No positive coronavirus cases were reported in Dakshina Kannada (DK) and Udupi district on Friday, April 3.

There were no positive cases in the twin districts even on Thursday. 

Results of 16 samples were received today which tested negative. Result of 239 samples have been received till now out of which 230 have tested negative and nine positive. As many as 282 samples have been sent. Result of 43 samples are awaited.

In Udupi, none were tested positive for coronavirus on Friday. Sixteen samples were tested negative. As many as 11 samples were sent for testing today. While 10 patients were discharged from isolation wards, two new patients were admitted.

Kasargod

As many as seven tested positive for coronavirus in Kasargod on Friday. Nine tested positive in the state of Kerala today. The total count of positive coronavirus cases has increased to 136 in Kasargod. The total number of cases in Kerala has increased to 295.

    I personally, strongly, think the CORONA has entered India as far back as mid Dec with majority of the victims getting typical flu like symptoms for a few days & getting immunity; the unfortunate who died have been thought of to have died due to viral/bacterial pneumonia, sepsis, multiorgan failure etc because at my opinion at that time we were not aware of CORONA at all; hence test kits were not asked for (kits were not available then), hence no testing done, & those who died took CORONA to the grave!

    Now, cluster infection stage has set in wherin the transmission will explode exponentially atleast in metro cities; from hereon we will come to know the exact mortality rates as the transmission peaks off; but in my opinion, for some reason we r pretty immune to this CORONA or we have been infected by a milder version of CORONA! Only high risk is to the aged, those already sick, malnourished, weak immunity, and a few unlucky healthy people!
    Generally speaking, in view the mayhem this virus has caused in the most advanced countries, our mortality rates should have been in 1000s if not lacs by now considering our population density, hygeine, ignorance, extreme poverty, dogmas (Gomutra), malnutrition etc! BTW, lockdown has saved at least 7-8000 precioud lives who die in road accidents (avg 400/day)!
    All in all, for some reason it appears we r not going to die like what's happening out in Europe & USA!
    THE ABOVE IS MY very PERSONAL OPINION; I AM NOT A MEDICAL DOC, BUT AN AVID FOLLOWER OF CURRENT AFFAIRS IN MEDICINE (NOW CORONA), A PASSION!!
    You may watch a video of Dr. Anil Patil on YouTube, and think, then decide for yourselves whether he is talking sense or nonsense! BY this, I am in no way here to promote him or anybody, his video I came across accidentally when delving drep into the mystery (still is) of this CORONA !
    Fingers crossed; wish & hope this pestilence goes away with the minimal damage to my countrymen! Jaihind!

    The way they block Kerala border same way they need to block entry from Bangalore . Every day new cases from Bangalore .

    Great...this has to remain so for at least 8 more days, 10 days without positive case means, we DK and Udupi have almost won the battle. But don't allow people form elsewhere to our area till they also attain zero positives for at least 10 days.

    Till you lock all borders and restrict all transport and flights, everything will be OK. We are still at phase 1. So please please. Should. Avoid going out. Manage whatever you have at home. Eating balanced food is not possible now.. Even avoid going NABHOURS house. We don't know who
    Went where and carona is like a thief. Never warn you before entering your house.

    As per ICMR guidelines only those with respiratory problems are to be tested. majority people have minor symptoms and in present environment it is doubtful if they will report it.

    One of our regular commentator from Pangla, udupi (I think he is charles) was saying he had come from abroad and all of them are quarantined by themselves. Just want to know, how is he?     Lan..sir. .ha.. haaa...😁😁 He was saying something about pilar khana forest.....yes, i remember he had come from Australia. Basale is not good for Corona dear. Some get cold if they eat...and corona also in connection with cold. I heard pangla is famous for Jasmine lovely strong fragrance. At this time, i dont think so he is busy tying the flowers. That's early morning. Do you have Jasmine plants in your garden??

    Cinthy. Bai....and Langool I am fine in Padubidri....daily Tavel through Langools house to Kodimar.....hand santisers and also throat sanitisers are full in stock. Only thing is my lap top is not with me....!!!! In Padubidri sea shore Corona can not take a entry and also nobody will venture to even bomb into sea.
