Beltangady, Apr 3: The parish pastoral committee and SVPC, Venur on April 1 distributed essential groceries at Christ the King Church Venur to the needy people of the village.
When the world is facing a difficult pandemic situation, some people are unable to even get their daily bread for their living. In this troublesome time, the parish pastoral committee and SVPC took on the initiative to help the needy by distributing essential groceries like rice, daal, pulses, masalas and many other items.
During this mission, all precautions were thoroughly followed.
Fr Peter Aranha, parish priest, Denis Sequeira, parish pastoral vice-president, Steevan D'Cunha, secretary, Wilson D'Souza, SVPC treasurer and ICYM members were present on the occasion.
