Sullia, Mar 30: A body was found floating in the Kumaradhara river at Subramanya in the taluk. The locals informed the matter to the Ubramanya police who reported to the spot and got the body lifted from the river.
It is learnt that the deceased person is Babu, a resident of Kulkunda. He is the husband of Subramanya gram panchayat member Geetha. He is survived by wife and two children.
Post mortem of the body is being done at the primary health center at Subramanya, which revealed that he passed away two days ago. It is suspected that he must have slipped and fallen into the river.
